    Facing east, this is the brightest of Tsukito’s rooms.

  • (Natsu) Summer

    In this simple room we hope that you can relax and focus on slowing down.

  • (Aki) Autumn

    A room with a “good old” traditional feel.

  • (Hoshi) Star

    As this is our only room on the first floor, we recommend it for elderly people and families, particularly those with babies and children.

Within the walls of this 120 year old Kyoto Machiya we hope you will unearth something unexpected.
Take your time to slowly ponder and find something special an encounter, an idea or even a dream.

  • SALON

    A shared space for guests and sometimes opened as a café to the public. Who knows what you will learn, or who you will meet here.

  • LIBRARY

    Filled with guidebooks for your trip, rare old Japanese books, and modern ones too. Use this space to relax with your travelling group, eat a meal, have a hot drink or catch up on some work.

  • BATH ROOM

    Our impressive bathtub is from neighboring Shiga prefecture. Called “Shigaraki” this style of pottery and stoneware has a long history; the perfect place to relax and reflect on your day.

    *We also have a shower available.

  • Although we do not have parking lot, there is a paid parking lot within 3 minutes on foot. It cost 1,400 yen for 24 hours.
